Since 1992, Jeff Schreier has harnessed his design expertise, energy, skills and talents to become one of the nation’s most-respected designers. He is a masterful orchestrator who utilizes both practical and spectacular elements of the design world to create fresh, inspiring interiors.
After studying business and marketing in college, Jeff shifted his academic focus to his true passion—interior design. As he honed his craft, word quickly spread, and his business evolved into the dynamic firm that exists today: Jeff Schreier & Associates.
As a designer, he’s visionary–with a remarkable ability to interpret and translate his clients’ desires into beautiful environments that reflect the best of who they are.
As a business owner, he’s pragmatic – a straight forward communicator who understands his clients’ lifestyles and needs and helps them wisely invest their resources into their homes.
Jeff’s personable demeanor, easy laugh and sense of humor make him a treasured friend and colleague.
Kami Graff
Design Associate
Genuine. Determined. Timeless.
A native of Duluth, MN, Kami knew at a young age she wanted to become an interior designer. As her older sister was about to move out of the family’s home to go off to college, Kami presented her parents with ideas she prepared as fully drawn out floor plans. She wanted to knock out the walls between the girls’ bedrooms to make a larger space that could accommodate a walk-in closet. Unfortunately, Kami’s parents weren’t on board with the plan, but a designer was born.
Kami went on to pursue a degree in Interior Design with a Minor in Facility Management from North Dakota State University. She had internships with an architecture firm as well as a kitchen and bath design firm before being hired by Jeff Schreier and Associates in 2004.
In 2006, Kami successfully passed the N.C.I.D.Q. exam to become a certified interior designer. She now holds certificate number 22335. She has experience in designing residential homes as well as second homes and yachts. In addition, she also enjoys commercial design and has designed numerous restaurants and office spaces. Kami has an exceptional understanding of remodeling and new construction. She enjoys working as a team with homeowners, architects and builders.

Lindsay Wadd
Design Associate
Innovative. Driven. Detail Oriented.
Lindsay’s passion for design and architecture has influenced her from an early age. As a teenager, while other kids were reading Tiger Beat, Lindsay was reading Home Builders Magazine. Everyone around her knew she was destined to be an interior designer. Later, she attended the University of Wisconsin La Crosse as well as Dakota County technical college, graduating with a degree in Interior Design.
Lindsay joined Jeff Schreier & Associates in 2005 and is immensely proud of the projects she has worked on. This includes, restaurant and commercial designs along with vacation home and residential interior design.
A skilled project manager, Lindsay describes her favorite style as “Modern Glamour.”
“Working with Jeff Schreier, who is such a great design mind and mentor, has had a huge influence on my design style.” Lindsay says, “I strive to make each space unique to the client and to be conscious of my clients’ needs.”
Nicole Karels
Design Associate
Balanced. Perceptive. Inspired.
Growing up in Lakeville MN, Nicole loved to play with color and had an eye for fashion at an early age, never leaving the house in anything mismatched! She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Interior Design from the Art Institutes International Minnesota and has been an ASID Member since 2004.

Since joining Jeff Schreier and associates in 2007, Nicole’s background includes residential and commercial design and she works tirelessly to attend to the clients’ needs and to keep them well informed of the details of their projects.
“I feel fortunate to work in such an inspiring environment with an amazing design team and fantastic clients,” Nicole says. “It is extremely rewarding to hear and see the clients reaction when the final masterpiece has come together."
Lory Forstner
Administrator Extraordinaire
Resourceful. Flexible. Productive.
Lory has extensive knowledge and understanding about what it takes to make a business run smoothly. During the past 25 years, Lory has held key administrative roles in a variety of businesses, from brokerage firms and a hedge-fund management company, to the finance and education departments for the largest Catholic Church in Minneapolis.
Since joining Jeff Schreier and Associates in 2007, Lory has enjoyed the variety her administrative position brings, being behind the scenes, and keeping the office running smoothly. Everyone appreciates Lory’s can-do attitude.
"I've always had a deep appreciation and love for interior design, so when the opportunity to work at Jeff Schreier & Associates arose, I jumped at it!" Lory says.
